Architectural and Megastructure Coatings
Architectural and Superstructure Coatings
Architectural and superstructure coatings are advanced protective systems designed to enhance both durability and appearance of large-scale structures. These coatings must comply with standards such as ISO 12944 for corrosion protection and ASTM D5894 for weathering resistance.
Their key properties include high resistance to UV exposure, moisture, chemicals, temperature fluctuations, corrosion, and abrasion.
These systems are typically applied as multilayer configurations—primer, intermediate, and topcoat—and offer long service life ranging from 8 to 75 years.
They are used on bridges, towers, offshore platforms, docks, and high-rise buildings that require long-term protection and robust performance under harsh environmental conditions.
PHYLA products are manufactured in accordance with international standards ASTM D4060, ISO 12944, NACE SP0178, as well as domestic standards IGS-C-TP-020 and IPS-C-TP-102.
