Marine and Offshore Coatings
Industrial and offshore anti-corrosion coatings fall into several main categories. Epoxy coatings provide high chemical and mechanical resistance and are typically used as the primary layer, offering durability against acids, alkalis, and various solvents. Polyurethane coatings add strong UV stability as well as good abrasion and impact resistance. Vinyl ester coatings deliver exceptional chemical resistance in highly corrosive environments. Phenolic coatings are suitable for protection against acids and elevated temperatures. Zinc-rich coatings supply cathodic protection, and advanced nanocomposite coatings—enhanced with various nanoparticles—offer superior chemical, mechanical, and thermal resistance.
These systems are generally applied in multilayer configurations to achieve optimum protection.
Phyla products are manufactured in accordance with international standards such as ISO 12944, DNVGL-RP-C201, and domestic standards including IPS-E-TP-270, IPS-M-TP-757, and NACE SP0178.
